Established steel manufacturer has an opening in the shipping and receiving department to perform the following duties:
Receive, inspect, and record shipments of goods in computer software Distribute received goods to inventory or job shelves Pull inventory items needed for job production and distribute to shop location Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse Prepare items for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse Collaborate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving areas
Job Requirements
A qualified candidate must meet the following qualifications:
Experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in shipping and receiving Proficiency with warehouse management computer software's Ability to operate forklift Familiarity with e- commerce shipping processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock Basic math skills for inventory management tasks
