Job Summary

In this role, you will support future homeowners through the application and closing process while ensuring program qualifications are met. You ll collaborate with internal teams and provide guidance to clients, helping set them up for long-term success as homeowners.

Job Requirements

Ensuring applicants meet program qualifications and partnership requirements
Supporting homeowners with tools and resources for long-term home success
Delivering excellent client service through collaboration and communication
Encouraging participation in community programs and events
Responsibilities

Review applications and supporting documentation to verify eligibility
Perform verifications and ensure compliance with program requirements
Order and review property documents for accuracy
Maintain organized electronic and paper files
Enter and manage data within tracking systems and generate reports as needed
Coordinate loan closings and provide final documentation to lenders/funders
Communicate application status and program updates to clients
Assist with post-closing items including warranty requests and loan servicing setup
Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years of Loan Processing or similar mortgage/lending experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of mortgage lending laws and regulations
Experience in a service-focused environment
Associate s degree with 3+ years experience OR Bachelor s degree with 5+ years experience (or equivalent combination)
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:

Experience in affordable housing programs
Bilingual (Spanish)
Salesforce experience
Certified Notary Public
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position includes a combination of desk work and occasional movement throughout the office. Employees may occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and perform routine office activities such as standing, walking, and using office equipment.
