Job Description

The Millwright/Rigger is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and heavy equipment used in manufacturing. This role requires the ability to move and position heavy equipment using rigging techniques, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper alignment, operation, and safety compliance.

Job Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery.
Proficiency with rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and slings.
Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification or training in industrial maintenance, rigging, or millwright work preferred.
3+ years of experience as a millwright or rigger in a manufacturing environment, preferably in hollow metal or sheet metal industries.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and standards
