This individual is NOT working at the parts counter day in and day out. The key role is with the service department as they will report to the Service Manager specifically. The parts portion of this position is mainly supplying mechanics / installers / etc. With items they need for specific service and installation jobs as well as writing up work tickets. I need someone with warehouse / inventory experience that is detail oriented as they will be responsible for keeping track of inventory in and out of each transaction. This person is the go-between for the two departments.

Selling products and/or services to meet customer s needs.
Assisting in maintaining a clean and orderly workplace.
Maintaining retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed standards.
Performing routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhance the cleanliness of retail sales area.
Following prescribed cash, credit and/or check processing procedures.
Using equipment, ex: company vehicle(s), forklift, overhead crane, etc., and resources safely and proficiently.
Verifying receiving documents.
Various tasks as assigned by Parts Manager and/or members of management team.

Proven parts counter experience
Some experience as a mechanic / install technician is helpful but not required.
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
Knowledge of general mechanic processes and methods.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 75 pounds and ability to stand for prolonged periods of time as needed.
Proficient in reading a tape measure.
Ability to communicate effectively using both verbal and non-verbal methods of communication.
Basic computer skills.
Good organizational skills.
MUST have a valid drivers license
