Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance the safety protocols within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation laws. This role requires a proactive approach to occupational health and safety, fostering a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.

Job Requirements

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with environmental health standards (EHS).
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to document findings and corrective actions.
Coordinate and deliver safety training & development programs for employees to promote safe work practices.
Manage workers' compensation claims process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of occupational health trends, OSHA regulations, and EPA requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
Provide first aid and CPR training to staff; respond promptly to workplace injuries or emergencies.
Collaborate with management to establish safety goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement in occupational health.

Proven experience in manufacturing safety management or a related field.
Certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA compliance, and occupational health are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law, EPA regulations, root cause analysis, report writing, and EHS standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective training & development sessions and detailed reporting.
Ability to conduct thorough investigations into incidents and recommend corrective actions.
